The brand-new rooms Alpenhof Murnau has increased its capacity to 104 bedrooms: the 13 completely renovated rooms and the 11 brand-new ones are the result of the recent extension of the hotel.
Alpenhof Murnau, a magnificent five-star hotel located in the heart of Bavaria – a thirty minute drive from Munich– in a breath-taking pre-alpine and natural lake area, deeplyappreciated by the high-end leisure travel. The hotel has just renovated some of its rooms, inaugurated 11 brand-new ones and is radically refurbishing the MICE dedicated area, making it a hospitality jewel and creating a new concept which “sets”the events in the local culture and traditions.

Another important addition: a third brand-new eighty-seat scenic restaurant, which brings the seating capacity to a total amount of 220 seats.
This is not just a marginal note, they have invested and paid attention to important feedback in the MICE segment: thanks to the new bedrooms and the new restaurant, hosts and diners amounts correspond, and Alpenhof Murnau can accommodate them in its 8 meeting rooms – total capacity for 200 pax.
The new events area From August 6th to 22nd Alpenhof Murnau will renovate its three biggest meeting rooms, which, with their 450 square metres, cover the two-thirds of the entire MICE area. They will be aligned to the hotel furniture as far as colours, textures and traditional Bavarian materials are concerned. The interior decor and style will be the same as that used for bedrooms and common areas, giving it a natural flow.
Bavaria, whose lush nature embraces the hotel, making it one of its most sought-after destinations, basically becomes a kind of backdrop for the corporate events that will take place. Alpenhof Murnau is not only an ideal place for small and medium-sized corporate meetings and conferences, but also for individual or small-group incentive trips, thanks to it being located on the outskirts of the big city’s stressful life, its virgin wilderness, its dreamysunsets, its picture-postcard landscapes and its proximity to some of the most astonishing European lakes.
