CHICAGO, IL - BCD Meetings & Events (BCD M&E) announced Geert Jan Jongeneel, currently Chief Financial Officer, has become Managing Director, EMEA replacing Nigel Cooper who now will lead a new, global strategic development initiative within the business. Geert Jan will continue to serve as BCD M&E’s global CFO in addition to the new role and responsibilities.
“We have enjoyed significant success over the last three years through well-planned acquisitions and organic growth,” said Scott Graf. “As we continue to plan for future growth, we are leveraging the innovative, entrepreneurial skillset of our leaders to launch a third multi-national, global revenue stream for BCD M&E focused on growing key accounts. With Nigel spearheading this new business development arm, Geert Jan is perfectly suited to build upon the success and growth we have seen in EMEA.”

Additionally, Bruce Morgan, currently leading the LATAM region, has also assumed the leadership role for our Meetings Management business in the U.S. and globally. Over the last two years, Bruce has led significant advancement in LATAM, using his 20 years of diverse experience in sales and marketing management as well as global event management and performance to create growth and opportunity in the region. With his expertise, he will focus on driving new sales and expanding current business within our Meetings Management customers.
