ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions launches VingCard Novel at HITEC 2022

Advanced door lock solution features latest functionalities in security access technology with all components encased within a sleek handle to provide an attractive and durable design.

STOCKHOLM – ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions, a leading provider of advanced security technology for the hospitality industry, is honored to announce availability of the latest advances in hotel door lock technology and design with the launch of VingCard Novel. Set to be showcased during this year’s HITEC at booth #915 from June 28-30, VingCard Novel represents the ultimate combination of state-of-the-art enhanced security, hotel operations efficiency, guest convenience and a minimalistic design engineered to offer product longevity and scalability.

Manufactured using sustainable practices that lessen its impact on the environment, VingCard Novel stands apart from previous industry lock solutions with its use of next-generation scalable components that are built into the door handle itself. As technology inevitably evolves, hoteliers can significantly keep pace with implementing new functionalities or security enhancements without having to purchase and install new door lock hardware. VingCard Novel’s scalable hardware design will also ultimately provide the ability to seamlessly integrate with third-party platforms as well as include full Mobile Access compatibility. By encasing hardware components into its door handle, VingCard Novel offers a sleek and minimalistic appearance capable of enhancing any interior hotel design. It also provides hoteliers with a simplified installation process that sidesteps potential complications or additional costs.

With hotel technology needs evolving at an ever faster pace, VingCard Novel is designed to serve as an adaptive and long-term door lock solution that can keep pace with new industry trends and expectations, while streamlining operations and presenting guests with a secure, yet convenient hotel stay experience,” said Li Wang, Senior Vice President and Head of Hospitality at ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions. “We look forward to demonstrating the many unique advantages that VingCard Novel offers to this year’s HITEC attendees and how the solution will allow them to better achieve goals of ensuring a safe, convenient and enjoyable hotel environment for their guests.”

In addition to providing hoteliers with a scalable and future-proof solution, VingCard Novel’s robust door handle-centric design ensures enhanced durability in order to withstand many years of use. The lock is further tested against harsh environmental conditions and is suitable for both interior and exterior hotel areas.

VingCard Novel is significantly compatible with Vostio Access Management, a cutting-edge cloud-based solution also to be showcased at HITEC 2022. With Vostio Access Management, hoteliers gain the latest in security access management capabilities including automatic software updates that ensure continuous high-level security. As a cloud-based solution, Vostio Access Management sidesteps the need for costly onsite servers and maintenance while allowing hotel staff to securely monitor security access operations from virtually anywhere with an internet connection. Additional company technologies available for demonstration at ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions’ HITEC booth include Vostio Location Solutions with its Staff Safety and Hotel Asset Management modules, as well as the full range of VingCard locks and Elsafe electronic safes.
