At TTG Travel Experience all the best of the tourist trade

More space for “destination Italy’, the largest marketplace for Italy’s tourism offer, divided into North, Centre and South.

Rimini – A layout made to measure for enterprises’ business. TTG Travel Experience, the largest marketplace for Italy's tourism supply and demand, plans a 2018 edition – at Rimini Expo Centre from 10th to 12th October – which will occupy all the halls of the East wing of the Rimini venue, to host the key enterprises of Italy’s and the world’s tourism business:  72,667 visitors attended the 2017 edition, 1,500 buyers from 90 countries, 2,550 exhibitors. TTG Travel Experience hosts 150 destinations and 300 events organized by IEG and its partners.

TTG Travel Experience proposes the world’s largest marketplace for Italy’s tourism offer and the 2018 layout will propose a geographic route divided into Centre, North and South. The expo is integrated with the leading expo for the hotel hospitality industry (SIA Hospitality Design) and that for outdoor tourism (SUN Beach&Outdoor Style). A unique threesome on the Italian trade fair panorama, brought together with thePlanItsphere platform, the new brand launched with the aim of further highlighting the three events’ international profile.

The ITALY section, divided in this way, will feature several new features, such as the Glamping Area, dedicated to innovative trendy proposals for outdoor hospitality.

Another new feature: Exclusive Travel Experience. Hall A4 will concentrate the highest and most exclusive offer of the various sectors of the expo, with refined original set-ups to host the enterprises (tour operators, hospitality facilities, service providers, destinations, etc.) that stand out for products connected with an exclusive travel experience, as far as destination or type are concerned.

Four halls will be under the banner of Global Village, the area which will concentrate tour operators, passenger transport companies, technology and enterprises offering products and services for tourism addressing the distribution network.

The World (three halls) will host the major international destinations interested in developing business with tourist trade intermediaries.

On the occasion of the 55th edition of the expo event, the B2B core of TTG Travel Experience also takes the form of concrete proposals for favouring meetings between trade members. Such as Meet Your Destination, the online agenda of appointments for meeting Italian buyers specialized in outgoing tourism. Promotion Boards and co-exhibitors of The World area will have at their disposal a technological platform that enables to organize in advance (online) an agenda of appointments with selected travel agents and buyers specialized in the sale of foreign destinations on the Italian market. On the other hand, the Meet & Match platform of speed contacts facilitates meetings with buyers at TTG Travel Experience. Meet your Blogger is a facility created for favouring meetings between trade members and social communication experts. The Travel & Association Day workshop renews the opportunity given to exhibitors to meet the best and largest Italian operators in the association world.

Europe Asia Global Link Exhibitions (EAGLE), the joint venture created by Italian Exhibition Group (IEG) and VNU Exhibitions Asia, is focused on trade show business in China and Italy. Two EAGLE events have been scheduled for 2018. The 15th Shanghai World Travel Fair (SWTF) took place May 24-27 with an expected attendance of more than 750 exhibitors and co-exhibitors from 53 different countries. The Travel Trade Market(TTM) will take place September 5-7, in Chengdu, Sichuan. It is a B2B event for inbound and outbound Chinese tourism operators. TTM offers international exhibitors the opportunity of meeting tourism professionals from secondary and tertiary cities in the central and western regions of China.
