In his new role Richard Viner will be responsible for leading ATPI’s European sales teams across all its specialist brands and sectors.
ATPI, leading global travel and event management business, has appointed Richard Viner to further strengthen its international position in the newly created role of director, global sales UK and Europe.
In his new role Viner will be responsible for leading ATPI’s European sales teams across all its specialist brands and sectors. He will report into Adam Knights, regional managing director for UK, Benelux and France, and Gary Pearce, chief commercial officer for the ATPI Group.
The appointment is the latest addition to the global organisation’s commercial team, ensuring the company is best placed to increase its multi-national corporate sales over the coming year.
Viner brings over ten years’ experience in corporate sales to the role having previously worked for Expedia with responsibility for leading Egencia’s global account management and sales teams, before driving a European wide programme to drive better economics and performance for the Expedia Affiliate Network and Hotels.com.
Gary Pearce, chief commercial officer, the ATPI Group, comments: “In the last 12 months we have seen a strong level of growth with new client wins and the addition of new partners to our network. A key factor in achieving this is investing heavily in enhancing our team to ensure they are best placed to continue this success at a global level.
