ATPI appoints Judy ‘JP’ Peplinski as Global Head of Energy

Judy ‘JP’  Peplinski will be responsible for delivering strategy and solutions for the energy sector while expanding the energy division’s client base.

Judy ‘JP’ Peplinski has joined ATPI’s leadership team as global head of energy, a new role created to support the company’s ambitious plans for growth in the sector. Peplinski will take on the new responsibility immediately, alongside her current role as US managing director.

Working as a member of the Group Commercial Team, led by chief commercial officer Gary Pearce, Peplinski will be responsible for delivering strategy and solutions for the energy sector while expanding the energy division’s client base. Peplinski brings a wealth of experience to the new specialist role having delivered travel programmes and lead client growth in the energy sector for over 30 years.

ATPI’s marine, energy and shipping division ATPI Griffinstone has undertaken significant investment in the development and innovation of new technologies over the last 12 months. New tools including the ATPI CrewLink workflow management platform and ‘total cost of port call’ feature added to its Door to Deck service have enabled clients to reduce costs and improve efficiencies. Following these developments ATPI is expected to see further growth in 2018 with a new focus on utilising specialist expertise across marine and energy.

Andrew Waller, CEO, the ATPI Group, said: “As we have continued to develop our operations and service offers for the energy and marine sectors, we have recognised the need to further build specialist teams of experts that can lead growth in both areas. The addition of JP to our senior leadership team in the new role of global head of energy is key to this strategic focus and will enable us to expand upon our already strong presence in the sector.”

JP Peplinski, global head of energy, the ATPI Group, adds: “I am excited about joining the leadership team, representing the dynamic needs and requirements of the energy sector. I look forward to leading the growth path of our energy division and working with the team to raise the standard at a global level while aligning our solutions and developing new travel technology.”
