Auro Hotels poised for growth with addition of Aaron Greenman

Aaron Greenman comes to this role most recently from Aimbridge Hotels & Resorts, where he served internationally as Executive Vice President, Acquisitions & Development.

GREENVILLE, S.C. – Auro Hotels announce the appointment of Aaron Greenman as Executive Vice President, Investments & Development. As a member of Auro’s Executive Team, Aaron will be responsible for overseeing the current investment portfolio and the refinement and implementation of the company’s growth strategies in terms of both investment and management, including strengthening Auro’s JV capital partner relationships. Aaron will be working from Auro’s Atlanta investment office.

“I have known and admired Aaron since the mid-1990s, and we are thrilled to have him on our U.S. team,” said DJ Rama, President and CEO. “His significant domestic and international experience in the hotel management and real estate spaces, combined with his relationships worldwide, will continue to raise Auro’s visibility as a top tier hotel investor and manager.”

Greenman comes to this role most recently from Aimbridge Hotels & Resorts, where he served internationally as Executive Vice President, Acquisitions & Development, successfully defining and implementing the company’s strategic objectives in the EMEA region and expanding its international presence by over 150 management agreements in ten years. Aaron also served as the former Chief Operating Officer of JHM International, based in India, where he played a key role in the founding and establishment of Auro University. Before that, Aaron gained valuable investment skills through his eight years with Ernst & Young LLP’s Real Estate Advisory Services practice in NY.

“I am truly happy to be returning to Auro in the U.S. and am ready to do everything I can to help DJ and the wonderful team here realize its future vision,” said Aaron.

In addition to his time in the U.S., Aaron has lived and worked in various countries in the EU, Africa, Middle East and India. He earned his Masters of Management (MMH) degree from Cornell University, School of Hotel Administration, with a concentration in Real Estate Finance.
