In the last quarter of 2021, Aventura World saw group requests and bookings surge with levels even reaching highest-demand 2019 numbers to some destinations.

MOONACHIE, NEW JERSEY – With strong 2022 requests and bookings, and unparalleled insight into what travelers want now, Aventura World is helping travel advisors and group planners kick-start their 2022 bookings. The company successfully carried hundreds of group participants to international destinations in 2021 and is pleased to share their experience to support travel advisors and group planners with its comprehensive group travel planning infrastructure – built to make every element of group travel planning easy and seamless.

In the last quarter of 2021, Aventura World saw group requests and bookings surge with levels even reaching highest-demand 2019 numbers to some destinations. Research has revealed that this spike is due to a number of elements. While pent-up demand has been an ongoing theme repeated over the past several months, the company also attributes this increase in requests and bookings to a shift in consumer sentiment.

"We are hearing more and more that travelers feel a need to travel for their own wellness and good mental health," said Ian Scott, General Manager and Partner. "They are saying that…they want to be active and have adventures, they want to share moments of a lifetime with family and friends, they want to get back to checking off their bucket list of places to go and things to do, they want to do things that make them happy – and they want to start now!"

“In fact, many group travelers demonstrated their resolve to travel as soon as destinations started re-opening last year,” continued Scott. “We are pleased to share that a great number of group participants traveled with us in 2021 to international destinations including Italy, Greece, Spain, and Egypt successfully and with no delays or quarantines imposed. This is very important to note as the concern of being delayed on return to the US was a major item travelers mentioned pre-trip, but by making sure that we maintained strong policies and safety protocols and confirming that groups always met all requirements for entry into foreign countries, there was never any need for quarantines or delays.  After traveling in 2021 and seeing how international travel can be performed safely, these travelers have the peace of mind to continue exploring the world and most of these groups are already planning their next group trips with us for 2022 and beyond.”

With the level of complexity that goes into even basic trip planning drastically increased in the current environment, there is a new opportunity for travel advisors and group planners to really showcase how they can be a great asset to their clients.

"Now is the time for travel advisors and group planners to benefit from the renewed relevancy that they possess in this new normal that travelers must navigate by becoming their trusted travel partner,” said Scott. “Catering to today’s travelers is where our specialized group planning knowledge shines! We have designed our systems and infrastructure to manage all aspects of group travel for travel advisors and planners.”

From business development and marketing support and trip management expertise via company's Operations and Reservations departments, to Accounting functions for traveler payments, and personalized customer service, Aventura World has designed a comprehensive platform to support planners and advisors every step of the way in planning group travel – all the way through the trip and return home. As a core resource tool for advisors and planners, Aventura World is also proud to provide an easy-to-use booking engine specific to each group that saves countless hours for planners and advisors.

The company’s group planning infrastructure serves as a perfect complement to the brand's distinctive experiential travel programs that offer an “insiders” perspective and providing enriching moments designed to bring each destination to life.

"Our inspired group travel programs take travelers…to delve into off-the-beaten path places rarely mentioned in guidebooks; to have meaningful exchanges with local people that they likely would not meet on the typical tourist track; to savor the food, wine, and local libations of each region explored; to get to know each area’s customs and traditions of firsthand; to live the old world treasures, antiquities, and modern day musings at every turn; to delve into music and the arts via one-of-a-kind experiences that become memories they will cherish for a lifetime!"
