Avoya Travel promotes top executives, further positioning company for growth

With strong senior leadership team, next generation of Anderson Family takes lead, Ashley Hunter moves to Senior Vice President.

FT. LAUDERDALE, FLA. – Avoya Travel announces several executive promotions, including both Jeff Anderson and Michael Anderson to Co-Presidents and Brad Anderson to Co-Founder. The company confidently makes the C-level management moves as part of its aggressive growth plan to become the number one vacation platform, which creates better vacation planning experiences for travelers, Independent Agencies in the Avoya Travel Network and supplier partners.

As newly appointed Co-Presidents, Jeff and Michael will direct Avoya’s company vision and guide the overall organization. Together they will continue their family’s legacy of innovation, industry leadership and Shared Success, while driving the Avoya 2025 strategy and inspiring future company evolution. Jeff and Michael have shared responsibility in growing the business with their complementary skill sets for more than 15 years. During their tenure Jeff’s ingenuity in sales and marketing and Michael’s progressive technology developments together advanced Avoya’s unique approach of integrating technology and people to improve the customer vacation planning experience, while also creating more success for travel professionals and suppliers.

Brad Anderson, former President of Avoya, now joins his brother Van Anderson in the role of Co-Founder. Like Van, who has served as Co-Founder since 2015, Brad will remain involved in the organization’s growth and success. He will continue to focus on long-range strategic planning, fostering industry relationships and supporting the executive team at Avoya.

Positioning for even more expansion, Avoya promoted Ashley Hunter to Senior Vice President of Strategic Operations and Partnerships. Having previously served as Vice President of Business Development, Ashley’s new role capitalizes on her more than 12 years of leadership and management experience at Avoya. The position expands on her accomplishments in cultivating close working relationships with preferred suppliers as well as corporate planning and execution of internal processes. Ashley will focus on optimizing Avoya’s competitiveness in the marketplace, while also creating and implementing cross-department strategies to meet the organization’s short and long-term goals.

Expanding within the organization, Avoya has made additional recent executive promotions in several departments, including Steve Hirshan to Senior Vice President of Sales, Viola De Velasco to Vice President of Sales Operations and Daniel Rego to Vice President of Business Intelligence, among others.

The executive changes and promotions follow Avoya’s record-setting 2018 results in sales and Network growth, which both continue into 2019. Investing in personnel is a fundamental element of Avoya’s 2025 plan and the company is confident in the exceptional individuals who continue to spearhead progress throughout Avoya.
