Over 300 clients add one or more authorized marketplace partner to their travel program.

UTRECHT, THE NETHERLANDS – Leading global travel management company BCD Travel announced a significant expansion in the number of offerings in its SolutionSource platform. With recent additions, SolutionSource customers now have access to 19 innovative third-party technology providers – adding six new options since the year began. Over 300 clients have implemented one or more SolutionSource technology partners into their program.

With the launch of SolutionSource in 2018, BCD Travel introduced an entirely new approach to delivering unique solutions to their corporate travel customers. Third-party technology partners are vetted and authorized by BCD Travel before being accepted into the marketplace. Through SolutionSource, BCD provides these partners access to a set of APIs and development tools for simple and secure integration with customer programs. Customers can select the partner or partners that best suit their program needs for a truly tailored program.

“There’s been an emergence of innovative, new travel technologies in the last few years. These new entrants offer tremendous potential value to the corporate travel industry but are often barricaded by legacy systems and contractual red tape,” says Irina Matz, BCD’s Senior Director of SolutionSource. “As their trusted advisor, we want to ensure our customers have access to the latest technology providers to help drive the success of their travel program.”

In the past several months BCD has welcomed several new partners – Hubtobee, Lumo, Park ‘N Fly, Tripkicks, VATBox and VisaHQ – to join the ranks of the existing partners – like Pana, Freebird, FairFly, International SOS, Yapta, SpotHero, Groupize, and Rocketrip. Customers now have access to BCD-approved industry technologies across nine categories including traveler services, duty of care, guest travel, program optimization and more.

BCD will be highlighting some of their SolutionSource partners at the upcoming Global Business Travel Association conference in Chicago.
