Melissa Bolster joined the World of Whirlpool planning team as a Catering and Conference Services Planner two years ago, coming from The Walt Disney World Resort.
THE WOODLANDS (HOUSTON), TEXAS – Benchmark, a global hospitality company, has named Melissa Bolster catering and conference services manager for World of Whirlpool, in Chicago. Ms. Bolster’s new position represents a promotion for her. Ken Jesina, Benchmark's general manager at World of Whirlpool, made the announcement.
"It is with great pleasure that I announce the promotion of Melissa Bolster to Catering and Conference Services Manager," said Mr. Jesina. “Melissa has been a key contributor to the success of this property over the last few years, and we are very excited about her new leadership role with us, and the ideas and innovations she will help champion here.”
Melissa Bolster joined the World of Whirlpool planning team as a Catering and Conference Services Planner two years ago, coming from The Walt Disney World Resort where she was Catering Guest Experience Manager. She previously held multiple roles with White Lodging in Chicago.
Ms. Bolster has a Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management from Roosevelt University and is currently working on her CMP designation. She resides in Bloomingdale, Illinois.
Vicky is the co-founder of TravelDailyNews Media Network where she is the Editor-in Chief. She is also responsible for the daily operation and the financial policy. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Tourism Business Administration from the Technical University of Athens and a Master in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Wales.
She has many years of both academic and industrial experience within the travel industry. She has written/edited numerous articles in various tourism magazines.
