Talya Regan comes to her new position with over a decade of experience specializing in public relations and marketing communications within the hospitality industry.
THE WOODLANDS (HOUSTON), TEXAS – Benchmark, a global hospitality company, has named Talya Regan as director of marketing for The Kartrite Resort & Indoor Waterpark. The Benchmark Resorts & Hotels property is located in Monticello, New York, within the Catskill Mountains. David Kohlasch, general manager, made the announcement.
“It is with pleasure that I welcome Talya to Benchmark and to our resort,” said Mr. Kohlasch. “She brings a terrific background in marketing and public relations to her new role, including within the hospitality industry, as well as a keen understanding of the Catskills market. She is a terrific addition to our resort marketing team.”
Talya Regan comes to her new position with over a decade of experience specializing in public relations and marketing communications within the hospitality industry. Previously, Ms. Regan was public relations manager at Resorts World Catskills where she was part of the opening team and led a media campaign highlighting the launch of the highly-anticipated property. Prior to this, she was associate director of public relations and marketing for Frost Valley YMCA of Claryville, New York.
Ms. Regan is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations with a dual minor in hospitality management and sociology. A native of Sullivan County, New York, she is active in giving back to her community, including serving as co-chair of the Thunder 102 Country Cares for St. Jude Kids radiothon. She resides in Rock Hill, New York, with her husband.
Vicky is the co-founder of TravelDailyNews Media Network where she is the Editor-in Chief. She is also responsible for the daily operation and the financial policy. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Tourism Business Administration from the Technical University of Athens and a Master in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Wales.
She has many years of both academic and industrial experience within the travel industry. She has written/edited numerous articles in various tourism magazines.
