Brand new ACRO Suites opens its doors 1st July

Acro Suites is a brand new 5* luxury boutique set on the rocky cliffside of Mononaftis Bay, in Crete, Greece.

Greece’s 5* newcomer sets the stage for a perfect retreat this summer, welcoming guests to experience much more than just a Cretan stay.

Nestled on the rocky cliffside of Mononaftis Bay, in the northernmost part of Agia Pelagia stands ACRO Suites – a boutique, eco-friendly haven, where guests can feel at one with mother nature.

The brand’s concept is built around health, wellbeing, and rejuvenation; a time to focus on yourself, explore all your senses and fully rejuvenate.

The luxury property is home to an array of beautifully crafted suites & villas, merging contemporary design with a bohemian flare; all with calming views of the Aegean Sea. The raw aesthetics of the island’s natural environment are weaved into the décor, with earthy tones and materials such as wood, stone and marble running throughout.

The iconic Cave Suites are a perfect choice for couples seeking ultimate privacy in blissful surroundings. Think marble décor from the archaeological site of ancient Festos, raw silk bedding, and endless views of the ocean.

For families and groups of friends, the ‘ACROTERRA’ sea-view villa is a must-stay. This waterfront masterpiece is located right on the edge of the resort, featuring an impressive private infinity pool and botanical garden. Stone walls, swinging chairs, hanging ceiling lamps and crystal blue views are all to be found and enjoyed.

The concept of exploring one’s senses and restoring body, mind and spirt is heightened by the boutique’s incredible Bath House. The wellness retreat offers a Byzantine Hammam, petite cold-water pools, rain showers and an extensive choice of therapies. ‘Hot Stone massages’, ‘ACRO Bath House Rituals’, ‘Oxyveritage’ facial treatments and ‘Holistic Wellness’ days; are just some of the treatments avaliable.

When it comes to treating yourself, ACRO’s charming bamboo yoga “shala” – a Sanskrit word meaning “home”, allows guests to take part in daily yoga and meditation classes and experience inspirational talks from yoga gurus and fitness instructors.

The wellbeing resort is home to the ‘Cremnos Restaurant & Nurture House’, which offers a plethora of healthy and nutritional dishes to suit all tastes and dietary preferences. The concept behind the gastronomic haven was aimed to introduce guests to the best that Crete has to offer.

All dishes are crafted using fresh, hand-picked ingredients, sourced from local farms around the island. Dishes include the ‘King Crab Salad’ with bergamot scent and crispy chorizo, all-time favourites such as ‘Stifado’ and ‘Mushroom Risotto’ – and the incredible ‘ACRO’ Baba dessert featuring Cretan raki!

Acro Suites is a brand new 5* luxury boutique set on the rocky cliffside of Mononaftis Bay, in Crete, Greece.

‘ACRO’ originates from the ancient Greek word ‘Akros/Akron’ which means ‘on the edge’ – where the wellbeing retreat is built.

All suites & villas offer sea-views. The property is home to 29 Wave Suites with private pools, 11 Loft Suites with private infinity pools, 7 Cave Suites with private pools, the Sunset Villa with private pool and the ACROTERRA two-bedroom villa with infinity pool.

ACRO Suites is a 20-30 minutes drive from Heraklion international airport, the island’s capital. Mononaftis Bay where the property stands, is in the beautiful, picturesque area of Agia Pelagia; offering to several beaches, seaside cafes and restaurants to be enjoyed.
