MEBAA Conference Jeddah to focus on innovation and the future.
The Middle East region saw a 16.4% increase in average flight hours from Q1 to Q2 2018, with Saudi Arabia leading the way in business aviation in the region. The Kingdom is home to the biggest fleet of business jets in the Middle East coupled with the largest number of high net worth individuals (HNWIs).
Driven by innovation, the MEBAA Jeddah Conference will return again in 2018 to discuss the future of business aircraft, pilot regulation and finance models, from 3-4 September at the Jeddah Hilton Hotel. The conference will be opened with a keynote session from Yassir Bin Mansour Al-Mayoof, Assistant President of Aviation Standards, General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA).
Globally, the business jet market is predicted by Falcon Aviation to increase by 15% – 17% in overall sales in 2018 and Research and Markets expect it to register a CAGR of 5.84% during 2018-2023. In the face of such growth, the market potential for innovation offers the industry scope to change.
MEBAA Jeddah will feature an industry leading line-up of thought leaders and include panel discussions, roundtables and presentations on the important topics influencing business aviation in the Middle East. Saudi Aramco’s Aviation Manager, Fahd Cynndy, will be speaking on Saudi Aramco’s latest developments in business aviation and will also join a panel to discuss the next steps for the Kingdom’s corporate jet market with XJet, AvMassi and UAS International Trip Support.
Further presentations will look at successful business development strategies for business aviation; the future of business aircraft with a focus on designs and the growing importance of cabin connectivity; protecting yourself against the inevitability of a security breach.
