Business travelers are 25% more likely to be satisfied with their career

Nearly 50% of business travelers say they’re more focused while away, and more than 1 in 3 are more productive.

Despite a push for work-life balance among workers, business travel is only growing in popularity. Considering Americans took more than 460 million Domestic work trips in 2018, SavvySleeper was curious to know how this type of travel affects job satisfaction, success and overall well-being. To find out, they surveyed over 850 business-travelers.

Some findings include

  • While traveling takes its toll, nearly 3 in 4 business travelers say it’s made them more successful in their career
  • Nearly 50% of business travelers say they’re more focused while away, and more than 1 in 3 are more productive
  • A majority of business travelers (84%) are expected to maintain a normal workload while traveling, yet nearly half struggle to do so.
