FORT WORTH, TX – Canyon Ranch, the world’s premiere integrative wellness brand, announces the appointment of three new hires, Chief Development Officer, Blake Catlett, SVP of Sales & Marketing, Dianna Balabon, and General Manager of Canyon Ranch Tucson, Carl Pratt. The new additions demonstrate Canyon Ranch’s commitment to sustained growth and innovation after four decades in the industry.
Blake Catlett – Chief Development Officer
Blake Catlett joins the Canyon Ranch executive team as Chief Development Officer, with more than a decade of real estate expertise, and 15 years of robust business experience. In his new role, Catlett will be responsible for leading future growth of Canyon Ranch properties and real estate developments. Prior to Canyon Ranch, Catlett was a Vice President at Starwood Capital Group, where he was responsible for the origination, structuring, and execution of investments in the hospitality sector. He also previously served as Vice President at LNR Property, where he oversaw planning and execution of new business initiatives in the US and Europe.
Dianna Balabon – Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing
Canyon Ranch welcomes Dianna Balabon to the team as Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing. Balabon will direct all sales and marketing efforts throughout the enterprise and guide the efforts of both teams. Bringing more than 25 years of hospitality sales and marketing experience, Balabon has held executive roles at Leading Hotels of the World, The Peninsula Hotels, and Rosewood Hotels & Resorts, among other luxury hotel collections. Most recently, she served as the Executive Vice President of Marketing at Hakkasan Group, where she spearheaded dynamic global marketing and sales for existing venues and new operations.
Carl Pratt – General Manager of Canyon Ranch Tucson
Carl Pratt is returning to Canyon Ranch to serve as General Manager with nearly 30 years of hospitality and wellness experience. In this role, Pratt will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Canyon Ranch Tucson resort. Pratt was first introduced to Canyon Ranch when the Lenox resort opened in 1989 and he served as Spa Director, Hotel Director and Managing Director. Following more than 17 years at Canyon Ranch Lenox, Pratt went on oversee the Executive Wellness Program at Dartmouth College’s Tuck School of Business. He later became the President and General Manager at Cranwell Resort & Spa, and most recently served as Vice President of Program Development at Miraval Group. Pratt brings with him a wealth of knowledge in the wellness space that began for him at age 13, when he began practicing daily meditation.
Vicky is the co-founder of TravelDailyNews Media Network where she is the Editor-in Chief. She is also responsible for the daily operation and the financial policy. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Tourism Business Administration from the Technical University of Athens and a Master in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Wales.
She has many years of both academic and industrial experience within the travel industry. She has written/edited numerous articles in various tourism magazines.
