Celebrity Cruises brings ultimate luxury to Europe, with newest ships set to sail the continent in Summer 2022

Industry-lauded Edge Series ships Celebrity Apex and Celebrity Edge take European cruises to new heights.

MIAMI – Celebrity Cruises will sail the 2022 European Summer Season with six of its award-winning ships, including its newest, ground-breaking Edge Series ships – Celebrity Apex and Celebrity Edge. They will be joined by four additional gems from the Celebrity fleet: Celebrity Silhouette, recently ‘revolutionized’ as part of a multi-million ship renovation program, Celebrity Constellation, Celebrity Infinity and Celebrity Reflection.

Together, the ships will explore nearly 100 destinations and offer an expanded overnight program, providing more time to make memories in some of the world’s most awe-inspiring cities including Bordeaux, France; Istanbul, Turkey; Jerusalem, Israel; Lisbon, Portugal; Reykjavik, Iceland; St. Petersburg, Russia; Venice, Italy; and more.

Because Celebrity believes vacations should be effortless from the start, Wi-Fi, drinks and tips are now ‘Always Included SM’ in a Celebrity cruise purchase, bringing that wonderful feeling of ‘everything is taken care of’ to life.  In addition, the line’s ‘Cruise with Confidence’ program provides flexible cancellations and best price guarantees.

Celebrity Apex, the Celebrity fleet’s brand-new ship, will sail Scandinavia and Russia and the stunning Norwegian Fjords from the new home port of Amsterdam, allowing guests to experience the scenic beauty of Northern Europe in style. She will also offer Iceland, Ireland and British Isles itineraries, ending the season with special Holy Land sailings roundtrip from Rome.

The second ship in Celebrity Cruises’ revolutionary new Edge Series, Celebrity Apex, has some of the most luxurious accommodations at sea, including staterooms with ‘Infinite Balconies’ and two-story villas with their own outdoor plunge pools, to name a few.

Add to this the ship’s 29 world-class culinary venues, including seven unique specialty restaurants, and signature spaces such as the incredible Magic Carpet® moving platform and the carefree Rooftop Garden, and this transformational vessel offers no better way to witness the majesty of these bucket list destinations.

Celebrity Edge, named one of the World’s Greatest Places of 2019 by TIME Magazine, will sail from Rome and Barcelona on 7-night Mediterranean itineraries to culturally rich and romantic destinations in Italy, France, Spain, Turkey and the Greek Islands. She will end the season with some longer itineraries from Rome before returning to her homeport in Fort Lauderdale for the winter.

Celebrity Silhouette, showing-off her new look, will sail from Southampton, UK beginning in April 2022 to transport guests to a wide variety of popular European destinations from the stunning Norwegian Fjords to the warm sands of Spain, Portugal and the Italian Mediterranean. She will finish her much-anticipated Europe season basking in the late summer sun of the Canary Islands in September and October.

Other Celebrity summer 2022 European offerings include:

  • Celebrity Constellation sailing an array of 9 and 10-night Mediterranean itineraries back-and-forth between Venice, Rome and Barcelona.
  • Celebrity Infinity discovering the best of the Mediterranean on a special series of 7-night sailings between Venice, Lisbon and Barcelona beginning in April 2022.
  • And Celebrity Reflection treating guests to 10 and 11-night itineraries exploring the beauty of Italy, Turkey, Croatia, Montenegro and the Greek Islands from her new home port of Rome.
