Central Holidays continues expansion with launch of new groups and affinity division

Industry veteran Tony Etienne joins company to lead new division.

MOONACHIE, NJ – The Central Holidays family of travel brands announced the launch of a new “Group and Affinity Travel Division” and the appointment of industry veteran Tony Etienne to lead the new venture. In his new role, Etienne will be responsible for creating the brand awareness and developing the strategies and tactics to expand group business for this time-honored, 43-year-established travel brand to a new world of potential new in the group travel market.

Joining Central Holidays from Collette Vacations where he most recently served as Vice President of Business Development, the addition of Etienne positions the Central Holidays travel brands to capture an even greater portion of the group travel market as they continue in growth mode.

“I am very much looking forward to this exciting opportunity and to joining this trusted, successful family of travel brands. Our goal is to develop the ultimate group tour division from the ground up, utilizing my 27+ years of insight, knowledge and experience in group travel while furthering the company’s philosophy. We understand the customer, but more importantly, we are creating travel programs and providing a booking process that truly caters to groups and group planners. I know what works and why, and I am thrilled to help grow Central Holidays into an even bigger player within the group travel space,” said Etienne.

The new Group & Affinity Travel Division will work directly with group planners, organizations, and businesses in the planning and delivery of all kinds of group travel programs including alumni, affinity, special interest, educational, religious, reunions, incentives, meetings, conventions, and more.

Etienne holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communications from Mankato State University.
