Choice Hotels to develop two new Cambria Hotels in growing South Carolina markets

Cambria Hotels also introduces Philadelphia’s newest hotel

ROCKVILLE, MD. – Choice Hotels International, Inc. has signed two agreements with Four Raines, LLC to develop Cambria hotels in Greenville and Summerville, S.C., both rapidly growing business regions. The Cambria Hotel Greenville and the Cambria Hotel Summerville are both slated to open in October 2019.

The Cambria Hotel Greenville will have 125 rooms and is located in an upscale mixed-use retail area with access to Whole Foods, Total Wine, and Ann Taylor LOFT. The property is within walking distance to the headquarters of TD Bank and BMW North American Technology, Hubbell Lighting, ICAR, and facilities operated by 3M, Honeywell, and General Electric.

The 95-room Cambria Hotel Summerville will be located in Nexton Town Center, a mixed-use development with retail and office space, live-music and event venues, and a walking and biking trail system. Hotel guests can enjoy dining experiences at nearby Halls Chophouse, Fuji Sushi, and Taco Boy. Summerville is home to Volvo, SCRA, Summerville Hospital and Medical Center, and Palmetto Care.

Both properties will feature several upscale amenities tailored for the modern traveler, including: 

  • Spa-style bathrooms with Bluetooth mirrors
  • Contemporary and sophisticated guest rooms with plush bedding
  • Menus featuring hyper-local craft beer, wine, specialty cocktails, and bites
  • Locally inspired designs
  • State-of-the-art fitness centers
  • Multi-functional meeting space and business centers

This allows for seamless coordination in bringing these new Cambria locations to market."

Cambria Hotels Introduces Philadelphia’s Newest Hotel
Cambria Hotels also made its official debut in Philadelphia with the grand opening of the Cambria Hotel Philadelphia Downtown – Center City. The 223-room, 15-story property will soon include a rooftop bar and restaurant with 3,000-square-feet of indoor and outdoor space featuring one-of-a-kind city views.

The Cambria Hotel Philadelphia Downtown – Center City is located at 219 S. Broad St., on the Avenue of the Arts by the theater district and other cultural institutions. The hotel will house Del Frisco’s Grille on the ground floor and is within walking distance to popular restaurants and retail shops as well as the Kimmel Center, Academy of the Arts, Rittenhouse Square Park, Reading Terminal Market, City Hall, and the Pennsylvania Convention Center. The property is also conveniently located for business travelers, with the Comcast and Aramark headquarters nearby, as well as many other corporations.
