Civitatis is encouraging people not to travel and instead prioritise their health

Civitatis also extends its policies to its own 170-strong team who are all working from home to improve their offering while simultaneously preventing the spread of the virus.

City tour specialists, Civitatis are encouraging all their customers not to travel amid the Coronavirus outbreak and to instead prioritise their health by staying home and choosing to travel another time.

They recommend that travellers stay at home and plan ahead for the future instead of travelling in such a dangerous climate. They also suggest that travellers keep themselves safe by keeping up to date with the latest advice released by the World Health Organisation regarding the Coronavirus.

Additionally, Civitatis want to highlight their flexible cancellation policy which allows travellers the opportunity to cancel any of their tours or activities as long as they give minimal notice. They are constantly working with their suppliers to improve the cancellation policies of more than 33,000 activities around the world so that the fewest possible travellers are affected by the impact of the virus.

While they have offered this benefit for a long time, they are stressing the relevance and importance of it now and encourage people to book with them in advance and dream of future holidays. Travellers will be safe in the knowledge that if the virus and travel disruption is to last longer than expected then they will be able to cancel their plans with no penalty.

Civitatis also extends its policies to its own 170-strong team who are all working from home to improve their offering while simultaneously preventing the spread of the virus. They are continuing to respond to customer service requests, improve their website and add experiences to their catalogue all the while looking towards the future to brighter times.

Alberto Gutierrez, CEO of Civitatis says, "These are unprecedented times, and although we deal in experiences, tours and activities all over the world, this calls for an unprecedented solution. Those memories can wait, the most important thing is our health and safety. And we hope to see you flying over Cappadocia, tasting Tuscan food, or quad biking in the desert later on in the year.”

Civitatis are specialists in activities, excursions and guided tours in destinations all over the world, with over 1,100 destinations and 33,000 activities. They are passionate, ambitious, and extremely focussed on providing the best customer experience possible.
