Cobalt air adds access to Abu Dhabi from Larnaca

Cobalt Air, Business class.

Cyprus’ largest airline will offer new business class at launch.

LARNACA, CYPRUS – Hot on the heels of this week’s earlier route announcement to Dusseldorf, Cobalt Air announced a new three times weekly service linking Abu Dhabi with Larnaca, beginning on 25 February. Cyprus’ largest airline will offer its new signature business class on the route.

Andrew Madar, CEO, Cobalt Air commented: “We are thrilled to add Abu Dhabi to our network which is a key strategic route for Cyprus tourism and business. This sector will not just offer direct flights to Cyprus, but also onward connections to London Heathrow. Our on-board service is quickly gaining recognition from our leisure and business guests, and we expect passengers flying to Abu Dhabi to enjoy the world-renowned Cypriot welcome. Cobalt Air has quickly become the preferred airline of choice for the local population.”

The Abu Dhabi route will feature Cobalt Air’s new business class product, featuring large bespoke business seats in a two-by-two configuration with a 40” pitch. In addition, business travellers will be able to utilise our Dine-on-Demand service.

The flying schedule to Abu Dhabi is timed to appeal to both business and leisure passengers. Flights leave Larnaca at 22:30 and arrive in Abu Dhabi at 04:10. On the way back home to Cyprus, flights will depart the UAE at 05:10 and land back in Cyprus 07:30. All timings are local. Cobalt Air will use an A320 aircraft with 12 seats in business class and 144 seats in economy class to operate the new route.
