Coral Beach Hotel & Resort is a five star resort hotel, located on the edge of the Akamas peninsula, close to Paphos, just 25 minutes from Paphos International Airport (PFO) and 150 km from Larnaca International Airport (LCA). The hotel is located on the edge of the Akamas peninsula, an area protected by UNESCO. Guests can enter Akamas and enjoy the breathtaking scenery either by horseback, 4×4 jeep or by boat. The town of Paphos has itself been added to UNESCO's World Heritage List since 1980.
The hotel consists of 422 luxurious rooms, of which 128 are suites. Their Duplex rooms are specially designed family rooms that can comfortably accommodate two adults and three children. All guest rooms are air-conditioned with private bathroom and balcony/terrace or garden. All have direct dial telephone, message waiting system, radio, hairdryer, minibar and satellite color LCD TV screens with in-house movies.
During our stay at this luxurious hotel, we enjoyed every single moment. The rooms were extremely clean and spacious, with a great view of the pool and also the sea. The hotels’ beneficial position allows guests to have both view of the sea from the one side and the mountain from the other. The service was also very nice and the food met our expectations being served in a 5 star hotel.
The Hotel boasts the most extensive and flexible meeting space set in over 7,000sqm, incorporating 20 purpose built syndicate rooms with natural day light. Akamas, the largest room is completely self-contained with its own private entrances, foyer, offices, loading bay and can seat over 1000 people theatre style. Akamas is column free, has a ceiling height of 5.4m and can be divided into three independent sound proof meeting rooms each with simultaneous translation booths.
The Coral Beach Hotel & Resort has an Executive Wing which does not accept children under the age of twelves. Guests that choose the Executive Wing have a separate check-in and check-out, are entitled to use the Executive Lounge during their stay for complimentary tea and coffee, pre-dinner drinks, use of library, computer and music facilities. Guests in the Executive Wing also have the choice of making use of the separate breakfast area which offers a la carte options and is located on their block.
The hotel has also six restaurants offering a selection of cuisines from Cypriot to French and from Traditional Fresh Fish to Romantic Italian. All restaurants feature covered terraces, so breakfast, lunch and dinners can be taken outside. There is also a children’s menu available for early meals.
There is also available an extensive Health and Beauty Spa, complimented with an indoor swimming pool and gym. The Spa offers treatments in aromatherapy, hydrotherapy and thalassotherapy.
Situated on 400 meters of natural sandy beach, the hotel offers unlimited watersport facilities, including its own Scuba diving school where one can acquire their PADI certificate. There are four floodlit tennis courts, a squash court, snooker, pool and games room. There is also an Arts & Crafts Workshop on the grounds of the hotel where guests can try pottery-making, glass-painting, the art of silk painting and much more.
