Corendon Airlines reports ‘bookings spike’ as it launches new 2022 Dalaman, Bodrum and Antalya routes

The new routes are in addition to a new daily service from London Gatwick to Antalya service and flights from Gatwick and Manchester to Crete and Rhodes.

Corendon Airlines announced it had seen a ‘bookings spike’ since seeing Turkey removed from the UK ‘red list’ last week, with booking levels ‘more than double’ than the same period last week. Its Summer 2022 forward bookings were in a ‘healthy’ position, as it announced additional Gatwick and Manchester flights to Bodrum for summer 2022. The new routes will add to the existing regional flights from Glasgow, Newcastle, and Birmingham to Antalya and Dalaman.

"We were delighted to see Turkey removed from the red list and saw an immediate impact in overall booking levels’, commented Corendon Commercial Director, Mine Aslan, ‘Our Summer 2022 bookings have continued to remain very strong over the last few months, but I am sure that we will now see even greater demand from the UK. We have over 500,000 seats on sale for Summer 2022 from the UK".

The new routes are in addition to a new daily service from London Gatwick to Antalya service and flights from Gatwick and Manchester to Crete and Rhodes.

Aslan added, ‘Support from the trade and the regional airports has been fantastic, over a very difficult period. We will continue to look at additional regional routes and new destination airports to expand our summer 2022 programme.’

"We have increased our trade distribution substantially over the last 6 months and are keen to work with and support as many agents as possible to support our 2022 expansion", Aslan concluded. The full Summer 2022 UK schedule will now total 45 flights and 16 different routes.
