Cruise Baltic makes it easier to choose onshore power supply in the Baltic Sea region

Port of Kristiansand is included in the overview of onshore power supply in the Baltic Sea region and the port is one of the Cruise Baltic destinations that already have available onshore power supply.

The new feature is an extension of Cruise Baltic’s already existing port information on their website, and it gives cruise lines an overview of ports with onshore power supply in the Baltic Sea region as well as all the technical details.

As another step toward a greener cruise industry, Cruise Baltic presents an overview of onshore power supply in the Baltic Sea region. With the overview, it is now easier for cruise lines to make itineraries taking into consideration the available onshore power supply in the Baltic ports.

Cruise Baltic launched their onshore power supply overview. The new feature is an extension of Cruise Baltic’s already existing port information on their website, and it gives cruise lines an overview of ports with onshore power supply in the Baltic Sea region as well as all the technical details.

The overview is the first of its kind, and by using it, it will now be possible to plan sustainably based on the available onshore power supply. With the increased transparency, Cruise Baltic hopes to make it easier and more accessible to use onshore power supply in the Baltic Sea region.

“Many ports and cruise lines have already shown a great commitment to the green transition of the cruise industry by investing in shore power systems. With the overview we hope to create transparency and provide the cruise lines with the tools to strengthen their commitment to the use of onshore power supply to an even greater extent,” says Ida Katrine Skaarup, Manager at Cruise Baltic.

On their website, Cruise Baltic has collected all necessary information in order for cruise lines to plan their itineraries in the Baltic Sea region. The cruise network continuously update their port information and features on their website to reflect demands and needs of the cruise lines. The overview of onshore power supply and information on technical details such as max power provided and hook-up fee is the newest addition to the port information section.

Cruise Baltic was founded in 2004 and is a B2B network of 32 ports and destinations in the Baltic Sea Region aiming to promote the region towards cruise lines and travel agents. The network offers all cruise lines easy access, great service, high standards, and full integration between ports and cities throughout the region.
