D-EDGE’s new barometer on hospitality recovery trends

D-EDGE launches the enhanced version of its online Hospitality Recovery Tracker.

PARIS – D-EDGE Hospitality Solutions launched its first version of the Hospitality Recovery Tracker on 9 April 2020 to assist hoteliers in spotting the first/early signs of recovery so as to allocate the right resources at the right time. 

D-EDGE is pleased to announce the launch of its 2nd version of the barometer with quicker data loading time, easier to use dashboard and more data information. 

Everyone around the world can access this web-based D-EDGE Hospitality Recovery tracker. No registration or download of apps are required, view via the link. There is no marketing catch to this! This is D-EDGE ‘s initiative to give back to the hospitality industry, helping the hoteliers to understand and monitor the ongoing trends in these times of uncertainty.

The barometer is built on data collected via our central reservation platform on a panel of more than 10,000 hotels (Independent and chains hotels) 

Data available for viewing are: 

  • Daily bookings by country or main regions/cities
  • Daily confirmed Bookings and Cancellations
  • Bookings by creation date and arrival date
  • Data by distribution channels such as  Direct channel, OTAs, wholesalers and other distributors
  • Selection of domestic or international markets for 2019 and 2020.

There are many ways to engage with the Recovery Tracker to filter and view the desired data. You can select 

  • one or several countries or main regions/cities
  • one or several distribution channels
  • the booking origin of either Domestic or International markets
