“Take Me Away – A Virtual Vacation Experience” inspires consumers to get in vacation state-of-mind.

FORT LAUDERDALE, FLA. – Leading home-based travel agencies Dream Vacations, CruiseOne and Cruises Inc. led the way in implementing innovative ways to connect with customers virtually long before the COVID-19 pandemic. Its long-standing signature Virtual Cruise Events will now be rebranded as “Take Me Away – A Virtual Vacation Experience.” The program relaunch kicks off on Thursday, March 11, 2021, at 1 p.m. EST and features representatives from GOGO Vacations and Globus discussing domestic and international tours, as well as all-inclusive resorts in the Caribbean and Mexico. Attendees will have access to exclusive offers, as well as the opportunity to win TUMI luggage and accessories. 

“Our Virtual Events have always been a hit with consumers; however, we felt we needed to revamp the program to not only offer vacation inspiration but also to ensure the events were all-encompassing so we can feature land vacations such as tours and resorts, in addition to cruises,” said Alicia Linden, director of marketing for Dream Vacations, CruiseOne and Cruises Inc. “We are excited to relaunch this enhanced program as it will not only attract increased participation but provide even more insights that will benefit our network of travel advisors.” 

As part of the relaunch and rebranding, travel advisors with Dream Vacations, CruiseOne and Cruises Inc. will have a landing page on their websites dedicated to the “Take Me Away” events with unique registration links. As a result, these travel advisors will have real-time insight into who registered and who attended the virtual event. Leveraging this information, advisors will be able to follow up with their customers and have even more meaningful conversations about their vacation plans. “Take Me Away” events will be reoccurring and feature a variety of vacations and destinations.
