Dual new Hilton branded hotels integral to Toledo revitalization

Opening May 11, both boast deluxe amenities and dazzling spaces.

TOLEDO, OΗΙΟ – As downtown Toledo becomes one of the nation’s best rebound city stories, the brand-new Hiltons at Toledo Downtown are set to open two iconic brands, a Hilton Garden Inn and a Homewood Suites by Hilton, under one roof on April 28. The project will include Napa Kitchen + Bar, a new ground-level full-service restaurant, as well as the more casual gastropub, Café 419. A spectacular duplex 1,000-square-foot Presidential Suite sits atop the Hilton Garden Inn Toledo Downtown, boasting two-story floor-to-ceiling windows and not one, but three balconies from which to enjoy a panorama view of the Maumee River and Downtown Toledo.

Hilton Garden Inn Toledo Downtown features 217 guestrooms, including the Presidential Suite, while Homewood Suites by Hilton Toledo Downtown offers 93 additional suites each of which includes a full kitchen, sitting area and up to two full private bed and bathrooms. More than 8,000 square feet of meeting and event space includes a sprawling 5,503-square-foot ballroom that can accommodate up to 475 guests. Seven additional meeting rooms and breakout spaces, along with its unbeatable location adjacent to the newly renovated Glass City Center, will cement the complex’s position as the region’s top event and convention hotel.

With a 101 N Summit Street address in downtown Toledo, the two new Downtown Toledo hotels are ideally situated with the city business district to one side and the Warehouse Entertainment District to the other. The properties are an easy walk to Huntington Center, Fifth Third Field, Promenade Park, Imagination Station science museum and dozens of other restaurants and bars. Detroit Metro Airport is just 45 minutes from the door of the complex.

Both properties offer a host of amenities, including: free WiFi; 24/7 fitness center; access to a beautifully landscaped pocket park; pet-friendly rooms; room service; a business center and all non-smoking guestrooms. Homewood Suites’ guests also enjoy a complimentary hot breakfast and Wednesday evening social with cocktails and heavy hors d’ oeuvres.
