Element partners with Zenmer to announce Travel Radar

An automated off-line pre-approval tool, designed to help TMCs manage duty of care requirements.

Element and Zenmer, the travel technology company, announced the launch of Travel Radar, the latest module of the Zenmer corporate travel booking platform. Travel Radar enables TMCs to support their clients with the very latest information on client policies and processes when making bookings off-line or via the Zenmer booking engine.

Travel Radar is a permission-based application that enables TMCs to configure and manage their client’s policies and ensure that the travel consultant can access the correct information and booking capability.

With Travel Radar TMCs can see the following real-time information:

  • The client’s company’s policy on travel to the desired destination
  • The company’s restrictions around the destination for the employee to travel
  • The status around border restrictions, quarantine period, health documents and other COVID-19 guidelines

TMCs can configure the policy for each client around the allowed countries, cities, airlines, hotels and more. Showing company policy data along with the restrictions imposed by each country closes the entire loop of sufficient information and immediate decision making.

Travel Radar enables TMCs to provide a trusted service to their clients, allowing real-time management of corporate policy, reducing costs to the business and giving staff the confidence to deliver a high quality service with accurate information.

Nikunj Agrawal, CEO of Zenmer, said: “Due to the unique travel restrictions imposed by each country during this global pandemic, TMCs need immediate access to trusted information.  Currently, the correct information is difficult to access and usually found by searching through lengthy online resources. Fact checking and dependency on human interpretation increases financial and reputational risks for the TMC.”

He added, “We have created Travel Radar with the technical support of our trusted partner Element. This latest module is a long-term and much needed solution for TMCs.

Gavin Smith, Director at Element, said: “Working with a great tech company, like Zenmer, has allowed us to pool our experience and understanding of TMC operations and client requirements to deliver this new solution. We saw many tools for businesses and their travellers, but nothing for TMCs”

He added, “TMCs have really shown their value over this challenging period. Helping them to support their clients ‘return to travel’ policy and process was key to our thinking in developing this solution.”

Element has exclusive reseller rights to Travel Radar across the UK and Europe and will support Zenmer with TMCs who approach them directly. Travel Radar is available to all TMCs in any country. If clients have complex policies, Element can solve this problem by providing the Zenmer agent desktop which includes traveller level policy, with the ability to make the bookings. All expected content needs are available in the agent desktop.
