Embassy Suites by Hilton, Greenville Golf Resort & Conference Center completes comprehensive renovation

All-suite S.C. resort introduces new restaurant and bar concept; updates guest suites, atrium lobby, and meeting space.

GREENVILLE, S.C. – The 268-suite Embassy Suites by Hilton, Greenville Golf Resort & Conference Center has completed a 24-month full property renovation of its suites and corridors, open atrium lobby, restaurant, bar and meeting spaces. It has also introduced a new restaurant and bar concept, Craft 670. The hotel is owned by Atrium TRS III, LP, and managed by Atrium Hospitality, based in Alpharetta, Ga.

“Embassy Suites by Hilton, Greenville Golf Resort & Conference Center is committed to providing guests with superior accommodations and a highly satisfying stay overall,” said Bill Groves, general manager.  “Already our spacious two-room suites appeal to both business and family travelers by affording more space to work and relax than the average one-room hotel accommodations in the local market. The completion of property-wide enhancements – from our lobby to suites, meeting and event venues and a brand-new restaurant – strengthens the Embassy Suites’ positioning as the most convenient and accessible hotel and destination resort in Greenville, S.C.”

The most significant transformation is in the open and spacious atrium lobby and center of the hotel.  The former multi-level space has been completely re-worked to offer a single-level accessible venue. It features tables with integrated power and USB ports and an assortment of seating configurations that allow guests to work and socialize in the bright comfortable space. In addition, the new Atrium Promenade serves as a flexible event space perfect for hosting receptions and wedding ceremonies.

All guest suites now feature new sofas and chairs, carpeting, window treatments, bedding, tiled showers, lighting and artwork. Corridors have been updated with new carpeting and enclosed vending areas on each floor.

The new restaurant and bar concept, Craft 670, offers a menu that can be customized to each diner’s preference and features a refined rustic environment of live edge wood wall treatments with multiple TVs mounted to create a lively atmosphere. Craft 670 now also offers outdoor dining on the Fireside Patio and outdoor bar.

All meeting and event space has been updated with a new Bose sound system, new lighting, chandeliers, wall treatments, carpeting, and newly covered air walls in both the Junior and Grand Ballrooms. The executive boardroom now features a board table with integrated technology linked to the wall-mounted display monitor, and ergonomic leather chairs to accommodate up to 20 attendees.

The resort’s unique outdoor venues also received a refresh. It includes new decking, roofline and patio umbrella tables on the Overlook Deck at The Preserve at Verdae, along with enhanced lighting, and landscaping along the Pavilion at The Preserve, located adjacent to the 1st tee box.

The Embassy Suites by Hilton, Greenville Golf Resort & Conference Center features 44,000 square feet of meeting and flexible event space including 19 meeting rooms; unique outdoor venues; a restaurant and bar; on-site championship golf course, The Preserve at Verdae; four lighted tennis courts; outdoor dining areas; indoor and outdoor swimming pools; a business center; gift shop; and fitness center.

Located at 670 Verdae Blvd., the resort hotel is two miles from the Woodruff Road hub of shopping, dining and entertainment, and only four miles from vibrant downtown Greenville. Complimentary airport transportation to Greenville-Spartanburg Airport (GSP) and free parking is available to all guests.

Every Embassy Suites property offers free made-to-order breakfast each morning; a nightly complimentary Evening Reception; complimentary 24-hour fitness and business centers; and two-room suites with a separate living area, private bedroom, two flat-screen high-definition televisions, and a wet bar fitted with a microwave, mini-fridge and a selection of gourmet coffee and teas from The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf.
