Entrada invests in new hires in Advisory and Sales to support partners and growth

Entrada’s newest advisory team members, Katie Cook, Natalie Jamieson and Kelsey Blevins further strengthen the company’s proven advisory and consultation offerings. The sales team additions of Bill Obreiter, Mary Flynn and Steven Cook.

Entrada Insights, creators of the world’s first destination intelligence platform, announces the recruitment of six new specialists in response to rapid client growth and expanded services to existing partners. Entrada’s newest advisory team members, Katie Cook, Natalie Jamieson and Kelsey Blevins further strengthen the company’s proven advisory and consultation offerings while enabling the development of a diverse and integrated team. The sales team additions of Bill Obreiter, Mary Flynn and Steven Cook position Entrada for greater expansion in the tourism industry.

“The diversity of team and skillsets in the growing Entrada organization is a direct reflection of the evolving tourism landscape and its mandate to produce meaningful outcomes for our global destination clients,” said Sarah Lehman, CEO.

New Entrada advisory hires are as follows:

Katie Cook is a seasoned tourism professional bringing over 17 years of destination experience strengthening the Austin, Texas brand. Her career has helped to make Austin a recognized global destination for work, play and relocation. Cook joins to immediately support the growing business as a senior advisor to destination marketing organizations (DMOs).

Natalie Jamieson brings vital Capitol Hill and local government knowledge to Entrada’s advisory team. Jamieson has worked in destination and policy-making data analysis for over a decade, focusing on the improvement of community. Jamieson will leverage her expertise from her time at Visit Baltimore to advise clients on the importance of resident endorsement and visitor experience.

Kelsey Blevins’s decade of experience as the liaison between marketing and research departments will be applied to Entrada’s client base of agencies, data providers and DMOs. Blevin’s ability to speak research, media, marketing and destination languages is valuable for her ability to provide analysis and advise to Entrada clients based on the insights gained from the destination intelligence platform.

“I’m delighted with the addition of our new advisors to our team,” said Chief Data Advisor Esra Calvert. “Combined, they possess a thorough understanding of all facets of data integration, media, destination politics, destination stewardship and the growing importance of the visitor economy.” She added, “Their destination experience proves they’ll be a pleasure to work with in building strategic destination insights and intelligence.”

New Entrada sales hires are as follows:

Bill Obreiter has over20 years of experience working in the tourism industry. Throughout his career, Bill has facilitated global destinations in achieving diverse media and marketing goals. He has been responsible for global sales, thought leadership, industry relations and team building. Obreiter is an educator and motivator who not only teaches DMOs how to use data, he gets them excited about it.

Steven Cook brings his knowledge from 12 years as Deputy Director of Vermont Tourism to the Entrada marketing and sales team. Cook knows the concern for any DMO is how to fully demonstrate its contribution to the local tourism economy. He joins Entrada to demonstrate the value of the Entrada platform in providing clarity to the economic and social benefit that DMOs provide to their communities.

Mary Flynn joins Entrada to change the way DMO's think and use data for day-to-day decisions. A career tourism professional, Flynn recognizes the need for evolution within the tourism industry. She will be essential for Entrada’s growth and thought leadership within an industry that is changing daily.

Entrada’s CRO Dave Bahlman states, "As we’re growing, we’re learning that we need increased proactive contact with our clients. Entrada continues to learn about the intricate challenges that face each destination. Scaling and growing our local point of sales contact to listen and facilitate the delivery of our platform will provide faster decisions and solutions for the betterment of our clients' communities.“

“Celebrating our initial growth, we continue to build the Entrada team with the skill sets our partners need,” added Bahlman. “We welcome our newest additions to the Entrada team and look forward to a long, fun and rewarding time together.”
