Company hires Corporate Controller, Executive Assistant.
ST. LOUIS – Equis Hotels, LLC announces that Jacob Hopper has been promoted to Director of Hotel Operations for the St. Louis-based hotel developer and operator. Hopper was most recently General Manager of the company’s Hampton Inn & Suites Clayton. In his new position, Hopper will work with Equis’ hotel properties to support their operational and financial goals.
Equis Hotels has hired Jeffrey H. Nielsen as the organization’s Corporate Controller. Nielsen will oversee the company’s accounting and financial functions. He has a background in the hotel industry with experience at a variety of lodging brands. Nielsen holds a Bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Missouri – St. Louis.
Barbara Powers has been hired as the Executive Assistant for Equis Hotels. She will assist the organization’s executive management team and work with the company’s construction and development staff. Prior to joining Equis Hotels, Powers worked in the banking industry as an executive assistant and office manager.
