First: Phuket, Thailand

With a massive 9.7 million people using the hashtag ‘Phuket’ worldwide. Who doesn’t want to hear the swishing of the waves, the smell of sun cream, and the sound of meditation music after a restricted six months at home?
Second: The Maldives
Wallets at the ready – as this one may set you back a far few pay cheques! The Maldives in South East Asia is one of the most private and peaceful getaways you could ask for. With 8.3 million hashtags used this is one of the most Instagrammable locations in the world to unwind!
Third: Tulum, Mexico

With a colossal 32.6 million hashtags used across: Phuket, Thailand (9.7 million); The Maldives, South East Asia (8.3 million); Ubud, Bali (4.8 million); Siem Reap Cambodia (2.2 million) and Langkawi in Malaysia (2 million).
Second: North America 11.3 million
North America ranks second with 11.3 million hashtags across the most relaxing locations: Tulum, Mexico (5.9 million); Sedona, Arizona (1.7 million); Banff National Park Alberta, Canada (960K); Lake Louise, Canada (918K); and Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado (574K).
Third: Europe 5.4 million
With 5.4 million hashtags Europe comes in at number three.
