ETOA membership reaches 1000, putting product diversification in the spotlight

The ETOA team includes representatives in France, Italy and Spain, as well as a Brussels office.

ETOA, the European Tourism Association has reached the milestone of 1000 members this week. Australian Tour operator APT and Irish country estate Mount Juliet have joined the Association.

ETOA CEO Tom Jenkins said, “Product diversification is important. In a competitive marketplace, tour operators, hotels and attractions need to offer a greater range of experiences to visitors.  APT offers a wide and increasing range of products to long haul visitors to Europe. The Mount Juliet estate is the epitome of a tourism business maximising its portfolio, offering country experiences alongside luxury accommodation and fine dining”.

Mario Bodini, ETOA Chairman said “ETOA is enjoying dynamic growth. We are delighted to welcome these two members for this milestone, and look forward to making their voice heard now and in the future”.

Steve Reynolds, CEO at APT, said, “We are delighted to be joining as ETOA grows to over 1000 members and are looking forward to the networking opportunities that ETOA provides. As our business in Europe increases and becomes more complex, we are pleased to have ETOA on our side”.

Christine Murphy, General Manager of Mount Juliet Estate, said, “It is important for us as a team to meet business partners and clients who will enhance our wonderful country. I look forward to meeting many ETOA members at the Global European Marketplace on 2nd November”.

The ETOA membership has grown year on year, as an increasing number of tour operators, online intermediaries, hoteliers, tourist boards, attractions and other suppliers find benefit in the networking opportunities, information and lobbying support provided by ETOA. The ETOA team includes representatives in France, Italy and Spain, as well as a Brussels office.
