Events @ No 6, London’s newest venue, opened its doors last night to a packed audience of event buyers from corporates, agencies, associations and the third sector.
Set in the heart of Aldgate and Whitechapel, Events @ No 6 is the home of the Royal College of Pathologists. It features bright meeting rooms capable of hosting up to 210 guests; open airy networking areas and a roof terrace with views over the City of London.
Guests at the opening included Joanne Powel from Macmillan who said: “The whole experience tonight has been great. The venue has a lovely flow through a series of open and flexible spaces. I can picture holding a variety of events here making use of the superb catering and technology, whilst appreciating the sustainable nature of the venue, which is also a really positive selling point.”
Also attending was Simon Gaskin, secretary general, for the International Association of Institutes of Navigation, who commented: “As someone running high profile events around the world, I am always seeking modern venues that will appeal to my members. Events @ No 6 is an inclusive and welcoming environment ideal for a host of different types of events, meetings and conferences. The design and architecture are elegant but not intimidating making it ideal for organisers of all types.”
