Three new appointments to work across value chain.

LONDON, ENGLAND – Festive Road, a leading travel and meetings engagement consultancy, has followed recent news about new additions in the USA and AsiaPac with an announcement of three new UK based team members to cater for demand in Europe.
  • Sarah Edwards joins the team to bolster the Travel Manager experience as more companies approach Festive Road for Interim Travel Management support. Sarah has formerly acted in travel operation and consultancy roles at Procter and Gamble and IBM.
  • Amy Murphy joins Festive Road as a travel technology specialist to work on a number of booking tool and aggregator projects the company is working on. Amy has formerly fulfilled roles at Sabre Getthere and Amex GBT in user experience and product.
  • Sarah Van Dyke joins the organization fresh from American Express GBT, where she specialized in growing & retaining some of the worlds’ largest and most innovative travel programmes.
All three ladies, who add to a business comprising over 80% women across three continents, shared an interest in working with Festive Road’s “…talented and forward-thinking team.” Amy Murphy expanded on this, stating she was “…looking forward to bringing her technology knowledge to the organization.”

Ms. Van Dyke, Ms. Edwards and Ms. Murphy all echoed a common sentiment that their draw to working with the existing team was their shared depth of “…knowledge, network and credibility.”

Speaking about the three new appointments, managing partner Caroline Strachan said, “Demand for services provided by Festive Road has grown considerably and great people are the backbone of our organization, so we are delighted to welcome these three amazing ladies to the team to support our clients.  You can expect more announcements in due course, particularly on the buyer side, as demand for our outsourced travel management services continues to grow exponentially.”

The firm reports a 500% increase in revenues from its outsourced travel management client base.
