Five of the best cruise destinations to consider for your next adventure

With the prospect of cruises looking more and more likely, it begs the question, where should your next adventure be to? Below are 5 of the best cruise destinations that are worth considering.

When the pandemic first started to take full effect and nationwide lockdowns were on the eve of being implemented, cruises were one of the first holiday types to be completely shut off. As the vaccine continues to be rolled out and its effects look increasingly more promising, cruisers from all over the world are becoming excited about the prospect of hitting the open waves once again.

It’s no surprise that cruises are so popular as they seem to take what other holidays have to offer and roll them up into one. Not to mention, if you still have a bug for adventure but also enjoy taking time to sit back and enjoy the finer things in life, what better way to do than on some of the world’s most luxurious transportation?

So, with the prospect of cruises looking more and more likely, it begs the question, where should your next adventure be to? Below are 5 of the best cruise destinations that are worth considering.

1. Sail from Venice on the Croatian Coast
This cruise sails from Venice, one of the most unique cities in Europe, and take passengers all along Croatia’s stunning dalmatian coast. Private yachts will transport you to beaches, islands, and charming towns and cities on a cruise fit for kings and queens.

2. Get sea legs in Bordeaux
Take a tour of Bordeaux and experience haute cuisine amongst a scenic backdrop of beautiful gardens and rivers. Also, it would be rude to mention a trip to Bordeaux without bringing up some of the best wine that France has to offer. Visit vineyards and get tasting lessons from some of the country’s greatest winemakers before putting your feet up back on the ship and letting the gentle rocking of the calm waves take your mind off how much you’ve eaten and drunk.

3. Hit the slots in Monte Carlo
As the backdrop of the 2006 James Bond film Casino Royale, if you go for a spin of the roulette wheel or a game of blackjack at the Casino de Monte-Carlo, you’ll predictably be met with a-level glitz and glamour that even F Scott Fitzgerald would struggle to articulate. That being said, maybe gambling isn’t your thing, after all, you can get just as an immersive and enjoyable experience gambling online now than you could in any casino.

Not to worry. Monte Carlo is much more than just a destination for poker players. With its beaches, restaurants, and multiple tours that dive into the city’s history and culture, there is something for everyone.

4. Enjoy breath-taking scenes in Alaska
This is one of the most scenic destinations on the list. Thanks to majestic wildlife, wild terrain, and glaciers that have their magnitude reflected in the ice-cold water they stand in, Alaska truly is breathtaking. Watch blocks of ice fall into the ocean from the luxury of your own stateroom in what is one of the greatest cruise destinations in the world.

5. Southern Japan
If you go on a cruise to Japan, you’ll see and discover a fascinating country with unbelievable beauty, delectable cuisine, and rich culture. In cities such as Tokyo, you’ll be able to experience the fascinating combination of both ancient architecture and modern design. Meanwhile, in Shimzu, that modern architecture comes accompanied by Mt. Fuji, which lingers beautifully in the background, creating one of the most awe-inspiring skylines in the world.
