DUBLIN, IRELAND – CarTrawler has announced the appointment of Mark Schwab, former Chief Executive of Star Alliance, as Senior Advisor.
Mark Schwab served as Chief Executive of Star Alliance, the leading global airline network, from 2012 to 2016. During his tenure, Mark and his team focused on creating in-house technology to enable their members to integrate and operate together across different technologies. In that time, the company grew its member base to 28 airlines, making it the world’s largest Airline Alliance.
Before joining Star Alliance in January 2012, Mark held many positions within the airline industry; most recently he was responsible for alliance activities at United Airlines, where he was Senior Vice President Alliances. In this role he also served on the Management Board of the Star Alliance organisation. Previously, Mark held management positions at United Airlines, US Airways and American Airlines.
