The launch of Montego Bay service and four more routes by Frontier later this summer will bring its network at MIA to a total of 33 destinations – its highest number ever at the airport.
On May 28, representatives from Frontier Airlines, Miami-Dade County and Jamaica hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate Frontier’s inaugural departure from Miami International Airport to Montego Bay, Jamaica.
Frontier is now flying three times per week to Montego Bay. The launch of Montego Bay service and four more routes by Frontier later this summer will bring its network at MIA to a total of 33 destinations – its highest number ever at the airport.

In addition to Montego Bay, Frontier will start serving the following routes from MIA this summer: Myrtle Beach, South Carolina (5x weekly) on June 10; Nassau, Bahamas (4x weekly) on June 24; San Jose, Costa Rica (2x weekly) on July 2; and St. Maarten, Netherlands Antilles (1x weekly) on July 10. Frontier is also currently MIA’s third-busiest passenger airline in seat capacity.
