Internationally acclaimed wellness spa names Brittany Shepard as new Clinical Historian.
COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – Garden of the Gods Resort and Club announces the selection of Brittany Shepard as clinical historian, a newly added position for its internationally recognized STRATA Integrated Wellness and Spa.
Creating the clinical historian position provides an additional resource for STRATA to further personalize and evolve its multidimensional concierge wellness experience. As the first touchpoint within STRATA, the clinical historian is immersed in the pre-arrival, onboarding and arrival journey phases of each patient’s journey. This includes understanding patients’ health and wellness goals, conducting a comprehensive review of past medical history shared with all clinicians as well as orienting them to STRATA’s facility, origin, integrated philosophy and practice foundations. The clinical historian is a fundamental part of the experience and will not only maintain an ongoing centralized and thorough Patient Record Profile for the clinical team but guide and facilitate new patients through STRATA’s integral disciplines of Med, Body and Fit. This role will also develop and manage individualized wellness immersions, including multi-day wellness experiences, for regional, national and international wellness destination patients.
A seasoned professional in personalized care, Brittany Shepard brings an extensive background in health, wellness and fitness to her new role at STRATA. Shepard’s experience lends itself to her expertise in building personable, holistic and detail-focused practices to her patient care. In her role as clinical historian, she will provide a collaborative and personalized environment between patients and clinicians by ensuring patients’ history, lifestyle and health goals are in alignment and a central component of their care.
Prior to her role at STRATA, Shepard worked as assistant to the head coach of the gymnastics program at University of Florida as well as a personal trainer for Equinox in Miami, Florida. Shepard holds a bachelor’s degree in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology, specializing in Exercise Physiology and is currently applying to medical school where she aspires to become a physician.
As part of the STRATA wellness team at Garden of the Gods Resort and Club, Shepard and her husband, Kyle, now call Colorado home. A lifelong athlete and gymnast who has previously competed at the collegiate level, Shepard is passionate about maintaining a healthy, active lifestyle through camping, hiking, trail running and rock climbing.

Vicky is the co-founder of TravelDailyNews Media Network where she is the Editor-in Chief. She is also responsible for the daily operation and the financial policy. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Tourism Business Administration from the Technical University of Athens and a Master in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Wales.
She has many years of both academic and industrial experience within the travel industry. She has written/edited numerous articles in various tourism magazines.
