Three DMCs and two meeting planners selected for 2018 Global DMC Partners Awards.
WASHINGTON, DC – Global DMC Partners, the global network of Destination Management Companies (DMCs), revealed its 2018 Rising Star, 2018 Global Planner of the Year, 2018 International Partner of the Year, and 2018 U.S. Partner of the Year at their annual Connection in Warsaw, Poland on Saturday, August 18th.
Client award winners included Fagel Baer from Ferguson, who was given the 2018 Rising Star award, and Kuba Piotrowski from Oriflame, who was declared 2018 Global Planner of the Year and serves on the Global DMC Partners Customer Advisory Board. Global DMC Partners selected the client award winners after thoughtful review of the award winners’ customer loyalty, dedication to Global DMC Partners’ growth and success, and meetings and incentives industry involvement.

The 2018 International Partner of the Year was awarded to Tropical Incentives, serving Cancun, Los Cabos, Mexico City, Puerto Vallarta, Riviera Maya, and Riviera Nayarit, Mexico. Both Realize Colorado and Shackman Associates New York were awarded the 2018 U.S. Partner of the Year award, marking the second time each DMC received the esteemed award. The Partner of the Year awards are presented annually to the highest-achieving DMCs out of a pool of over 65 DMC Members. Each award winner must exceed specific selection criteria based on creativity, quality, operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and active involvement within Global DMC Partners.

At the conclusion of the awards ceremony, Global DMC Partners announced that Connection 2019 will be hosted by Tropical Incentives from August 22-25, 2019 at the Grand Fiesta Americana Coral Beach Cancun Resort & Spa in Cancun, Mexico. Registration for the exclusive event will be open in early 2019.
