Greengage launches Sustainability Awards for the hospitality industry

The deadline for entries is Wednesday 28 September, following which a panel of expert judges will assess all nominations. Winners will be announced at Greengage’s Insights Live event at The Marylebone, London, on 8 November.

Greengage Solutions has launched its own Sustainability Awards for the hospitality industry. Shining a spotlight on businesses and individuals that are making a significant impact on reducing the carbon footprint of travel and events, sustainable travel specialists, Greengage have launched four categories.

Venues, accommodation providers, agencies and suppliers have been invited to enter the Greengage Sustainability Awards 2022 for:

  • Sustainability champion of the year
  • Sustainability initiative of the year – accommodation and meetings venues
  • Sustainability initiative of the year – agency
  • Innovative product or service of the year.

The deadline for entries is Wednesday 28 September, following which a panel of expert judges will assess all nominations. Winners will be announced at Greengage’s Insights Live event at The Marylebone, London, on 8 November.

The event will also invite guests to hear from sustainability expert speakers, discussing some of the important issues being faced in the industry, currently. The awards presentation will follow, with a raffle to raise money for World Wildlife Fund, as well as an opportunity for networking.

Commenting on the launch of the Sustainability Awards, Andrew Perolls – CEO of Greengage said, “We are seeing some brilliant innovation in the travel and meetings space, when it comes to sustainability. The Greengage Sustainability Awards are a great opportunity to highlight the initiatives and people who are at the forefront of the green revolution”.
