for Qatar Airways
’ Premium passengers. As one of the largest lounges in the world, with 10,000 square metres of bespoke design features, Al Mourjan offers Qatar Airways’ Premium travellers unrivalled Qatari hospitality with its signature five-star service.

Al Mourjan Business Lounge is one of the largest lounges in the world at 10,000 square metres and can accommodate up to 1,000 visitors at a time.
Passengers who visit Al Mourjan will be able to enjoy the fresh and relaxing ambience courtesy of an abundance of natural sunlight throughout the lounge, paired with our state-of-the-art lighting technology. Passengers will also be impressed by the sheer size of the lounge: spread out over two levels, and equivalent to the size of 10 Olympic size pools, Al Mourjan can accommodate up to 1,000 visitors at a time. And for those looking to satisfy a hunger craving they can enjoy one of the many sumptuous dining options on offer, from light bites to seated dining in the mezzanine area. After enjoying a meal, passengers can also continue their journey through the mezzanine and enjoy the calm and serenity of the 15m x 7m infinity pool water feature which sits at the base of the spiral staircase, lit by a stunning four-tiered chandelier, to the second level of Al Mourjan.Passengers can choose from a number of options to help them rejuvenate and relax, including private quiet rooms and family areas.
For those looking to relax, there is a wealth of options available to help passengers rejuvenate before their flight, from the private quiet rooms and relaxing family spaces, to the games rooms for children offering PlayStation pods and an F1 driving simulator. Added to this Al Mourjan also offers prayer rooms, restrooms, a smoking area, a nursery and shower rooms with free amenities.
Qatar Airways’ Premium travellers can also avail of a dedicated business centre offering a conference area, personal internet workstations, or printers and scanners, all to ensure a smooth and seamless transition from the office to the passengers’ final destination. Multi-purpose executive seating is also available throughout the lounge with a private Flight Information Display System monitor and reading light, as well as personal power and data outlets.The lounge features a 15 x 17 metre infinity pool located at the base of the grand spiral staircase leading up to the mezzanine level.
The Al Mourjan Business Lounge is open to Qatar Airways and oneworld First and Business Class passengers until the Al Safwa First Class Lounge opens as part of HIA’s phased development.
The opening of Al Mourjan lounge is the latest in a vastly enhanced travel experience that passengers can expect when transiting through Qatar’s new Hamad International Airport. The airport, which opened in the second quarter of 2014, boasts over 600,000 square metres of space, 40,000 of which are dedicated to top of the line retail outlets and a wide variety of food and beverage options. Additional features include a hotel, a spa, squash courts, gym, activity nodes and art installations throughout the terminals.
Meanwhile the 16 lounges throughout the airport provide additional comfort to those that are looking to relax and unwind during their journey. In addition to Al Mourjan, Hamad International Airport offers a range of lounges for passengers to enjoy both in Departure and Arrival areas regardless of airline preference or travel class including; Oryx lounge, Al Maha service lounges, Gold, Silver and Premium lounges.
