Handiscover teams up with Travel-For-All to provide tailored accessible holiday packages

There is a huge market for accessible travel and this number continues to increase. According to the European Commission; in 2012, people with accessible needs took approximately 783 million trips within the EU, and the demand is anticipated to grow.

Handiscover announces its partnership with Travel-For-All, the Premiere Accessible Travel Agency in North America which provides tailored-made accessible holiday packages for people with disabilities or specific requirements. Travel-For-All specialises in tours to some of the most exotic destinations in the world such as Cuba and Africa, with full capacity to arrange accessible flights, on-ground transportation and local accessible experiences. With this new partnership, Handiscover can tap into the ever-increasing demands for accessible experiences from our disabled community.

“We are very happy to partner with Travel-For-All as they share the same vision with us. They have a proven track record when it comes to organising accessible tours in exotic destinations for travellers in a wheelchair,” said Sebastien Archambeaud, Founder and CEO of Handiscover. “Over the past year, as we grow we have also seen an increase in more complex accessible holiday package enquiries to Handiscover, an area which is not really our core business. In order to serve those customers well, we are delighted to be able to put them in the good hands of Travel-For-All with their 20 years of experience. This way we can focus on online accommodation bookings. We believe that by teaming up with Travel-For-All, Handiscover can increase both its sales and revenue.”

There is a huge market for accessible travel and this number continues to increase. According to the European Commission; in 2012, people with accessible needs took approximately 783 million trips within the EU, and the demand is anticipated to grow to about 862 million trips per year by 2020. It is obvious that there is a huge need for accessible services in the tourism industry and with our partnership, we hope to provide this.

Tarita Karsanji Davenock, Founder and CEO of Travel-For-All, was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and is an accessible travel and tourism author, speaker and global expert. Tarita knows from her own experiences that accessible travel is tough and that there are not always the appropriate services available for people with disabilities.

“Travel should be inclusive, but not exclusive even we are talking about remote destinations like Cuba, Africa, Sri Lanka, India or Nepal,” said Tarita Karsanji Davenock. “With a team of accessible travel consultants, Travel-For-All understands our community needs in every single point in the travel journey, whether it be flights, on-ground transportation, medication handling, equipment support or their expectation towards accessible activities and experiences.”

“By collaborating with Handiscover, we can provide our full accessible packages for more disabled people and enable them to discover the world,” Davenock added.

Handiscover is one of the leading holiday accommodation booking sites dedicated to people with disabilities or specific requirements. Howzat Partners is one of their investors. Previously Howzat Partners has invested in a number of successful travel companies, such as publicly-listed Trivago and more recently Lodgify.

Travel-for-All is a full-service Flight Centre travel agency partner and a brettapproved accessible travel specialist. It has over 20 years of experience within the travel industry and had accumulated awards from major cruise, land and tour companies.
