DENVER – Hilton Garden Inn (HGI) Denver Union Station – a 233-room hotel at the intersection of the Union Station, LoDo and Ballpark neighborhoods – introduces the General Manager, Amy Healy and Director of Sales and Marketing Teresa McNamara-Worcester.

Healy joined the HGI team with more than 20 years of hospitality management experience. Previously, she was the opening general manager for Geronimo Parks, where she created and oversaw the opening project’s budget, staff and implementation of the park’s internal culture. Healy also led the Hotel Indigo Denver team as its opening general manager. She oversaw the opening of the 180-room hotel and full-service restaurant, created the hotel’s opening budget, organized teams and drove the project forward to meet deadlines and milestones in its opening year.

Prior to Hotel Indigo Denver, Healy was with Island Hospitality Management, and, previously, more than 13 years with Larkspur Hotels and Restaurants in several roles, from front desk manager to regional/area general manager.

McNamara-Worcester joined the HGI team with more than 20 years of sales and marketing experience. Previously, she was the task force director of sales for Renaissance San Diego (now Hotel Republic, an Autograph Collection Hotel), leading the sales team through the transition of the hotel to an independent minded brand.

McNamara-Worcester spent nearly eight years with Starwood Hotels & Resorts, most recently as the associate director of sales for new builds and transitions. In this role, she supported the openings of all 10 Starwood lifestyle brands located in the U.S. and Canada. She provided strategic guidance for all hotel sales teams, targeting transient and group business to their specific markets. She also spent four years as the task force director and director of group sales for Davidson Hotel & Resorts, the operator of HGI Denver Union Station.

HGI Denver Union Station is centrally located and a few short blocks away from the city’s biggest attractions. The urban hotel features 233 spacious and light-filled rooms and suites with views of the city and Coors Field, or the Rocky Mountains. It also features 10,000 square feet of flexible indoor and outdoor meeting and event space, with each of its 11 spaces filled with natural light. Additionally, the hotel features an indoor lap pool, fitness center and Garden Lane Canteen for guests to enjoy a hot breakfast buffet, as well as breakfast made-to-order.
