PRAGUE, CZECH REPUBLIC – Hilton Prague has recently finished a multimillion USD hotel renovation project. The last additions that have just been put in operations are the newly renovated Executive Lounge, three Executive Apartments and four meeting rooms, all on the top floor of the hotel. Named #1 Top Hotel for Meetings and Events in Europe by Cvent for two consecutive years, Hilton Prague is not only an ideal home away from home for travellers, but also the perfect place for hosting meetings, conferences or social events.

The common areas of the Executive Floor have been unified to create the new executive zone as a consistent and memorable experience. The focal point is the expanded 300 sq. m. Executive Lounge which seamlessly extends from the reception and break out areas. Four new meeting rooms are created including a new board room. The lounge itself is broken down into distinct zones including an intimate entry area complete with comfortable lounge seating, a fireplace and a coffee / refreshments bar. Copper coloured chain curtains enable partial separation from the lounge zone when the main buffet bar is not in use and help to delineate the multiple seating settings provided.

The design draws on the flamboyant architecture and character of the city of Prague. Rich and deeply coloured textures are paired with brass and copper metalwork reflecting Prague’s theatrical traditions whilst the unique carpet designs are reminiscent of typical cobblestone pavements. Decorative light fittings are inspired by Czechia’s glasswork and specially commissioned art works connect with Bohemia’s hunting and musical heritage.

The 100 sq. m Executive Apartments located in the corners of the 8th floor follow a similar Prague derived theme. The layouts have been transformed by removing structural walls so that the entrance zone flows into the lounge area with decorative screens providing subtle separation whilst still allowing glimpses between the spaces. Two of the apartments offer an entertainment room with 65 inch TV and a gaming console while the third one features a private gym.

“Hilton Prague has always been very well located with great space and versatility to host an event of any size. I am sure that now, with the upgraded Executive product and the professional and dedicated team, we will become a top choice not only for meeting planners but also for leisure travellers,” said Michael Specking, general manager, Hilton Prague.

These commissions are part of an ongoing working relationship between Designer’s IBA (Ian Bryan Architects) and Hilton Prague going back over 20 years. Major projects have included the roof top Cloud 9 Sky Bar & Lounge, the refurbishment of all 791 guest rooms or renovation of the health club & spa.

Hilton Prague is one of a few properties of this size in the entire Europe, especially considering its central location. From small meetings with an intimate atmosphere to grand galas for up to 1,500 guests, the newly renovated hotel can host all sorts of events. Hilton Prague offers a unique combination of style and flexibility with its 38 versatile meeting rooms, the elegant Ballroom seating up to 650 people in stylish surroundings and the Congress Hall, which can accommodate up to 1,350 delegates in theatre style.

Hilton Prague is located at Pobrezni 1, Prague 8, 186 00, Czech Republic.
