SEATTLE, WASH.  – Holland America Line is continuing to strengthen its brand footprint and expand responsibilities within the sales team. To support the growth, Rob Coleman has been promoted to the newly created position of vice president, charter, incentive and series partnerships, while Cathy Larson and Lucy Owen have been named directors of field sales.

Larson will oversee the western territory of North America, while Owen takes on the east. The three will report to Michelle Sutter, vice president of North America Sales.

“Rob, Cathy and Lucy have been tremendous assets to Holland America Line’s sales team for many years, and their expertise in their respective areas makes them well suited to take on these elevated roles,” said Michelle Sutter, vice president, North America sales for Holland America Line. “With more than 60 years of combined time at Holland America Line, they are well-positioned to lead their teams as we continue to build relationships with our trade partners.”

As vice president, charter, incentive and series partnerships, Coleman will build alliances with charterers, incentive groups and the company’s large portfolio of series operators and wholesalers. Most recently, Coleman was senior director, charter and incentive sales where he applied his knowledge in finance, operations and sales to expand the charter portfolio. Coleman joined Holland America Line in 1999 as an inside sales representative and has since taken on positions of increasing responsibility.

Larson assumes the title of director of field sales, west, following her most recent role as regional sales manager, where she has been leading her team of business development managers in the western United States and Canada. Larson joined Holland America Line in 1992 as a district sales manager. For decades, she had been building relationships with the travel advisor community in the business development manager role, using her love of Alaska to grow her Midwest territory into one of the highest producing for Alaska Cruisetours in North America.

Owen is promoted to the position of director of field sales, east, to further strengthen Holland America Line’s trade partnerships and business development. Most recently she was regional sales manager where she supported the eastern region of the United States and Canada. Owen joined the company in 2014 as a business development manager responsible for a primary southeast territory. She also spent 15 years at sister-brand Princess Cruises as district sales manager and manager national accounts.
