Hostaway wins the business of Forenom

Forenom’s extensive inventory of home-like apartments will now be listed on major booking channels through Hostaway’s API integrations, including their premium partners Airbnb, Booking.com and Vrbo.

HELSINKI – Hostaway, the all-in-one vacation rental software for ambitious and bright property managers, reveals it has become the new channel management software for Forenom, one of the largest corporate housing and serviced apartment providers in Europe.

Both companies were created by Finnish entrepreneurs and have experienced rapid expansion in recent years. Forenom, which exists to provide accommodation solutions for businesses, now manages over 8,000 furnished apartments, aparthotel and hostel rooms across major cities in the Nordic region. Hostaway has established offices in Canada, the US, Finland, Spain and Australia, and partners with property managers globally to grow their businesses with tools to manage bookings, marketing, accounting and more.

Forenom’s extensive inventory of home-like apartments will now be listed on major booking channels through Hostaway’s API integrations, including their premium partners Airbnb, Booking.com and Vrbo. This will allow Forenom to continue to accommodate over 1.5 million nights yearly as well as continue expansion into Northern Europe.

Johannes Kangas, CEO of Forenom, commented: “Our service has outperformed the market in many ways, as home-like accommodation with private laundry and kitchen services have proven to be an effective alternative to conventional hotel stays before and during, but also after the pandemic. Now our job as experts in long-stay accommodation is to make the “new normal” work for our customers throughout Europe. We are excited that Hostaway’s technology and experts are on a mission with us to make business travel as easy as possible for our customers."

Marcus Rader, CEO & Co-Founder of Hostaway, added: “We believe that the global surge in business travel we’re currently experiencing will create a much higher demand for the accommodation Forenom provides, so it's particularly exciting to be completing our integration right now. Stays are getting longer, for which the facilities of serviced apartments and aparthotel rooms are well-suited, and the privacy they provide gives additional peace of mind to the guest. Our team was also especially excited to be working with a fellow company with Finnish roots to show the best of what the country and the Nordic region can offer.”
