HRS, Southwest Airlines, The BLS Company and Valerie Wilson Travel commit funding to travel again

Organizations back travel again in ongoing effort to inite industry globally and drive recovery.

WASHINGTON, DC – Travel Again, a global advocacy organization focused on restoring traveler confidence, announced HRS, Southwest Airlines, The BLS Company and Valerie Wilson Travel have all signed on as cornerstone funding partners. Funding will go toward further advancing Travel Again’s mission to unite the travel industry and drive both travel and economic recovery.

“We are proud to have the support of these established travel companies who understand that a sustainable recovery process must be driven by a united global industry rather than a patchwork of recovery efforts,” said Mike McCormick, Travel Again co-founder. “As vaccinations begin to have a positive and stabilizing effect on society, we must prepare our industry for the return of both business and leisure travel. But in order to do that, we need highly collaborative efforts between the public and private sector. The speed of the recovery of our global economy, as well as the travel industry, depends on it.”

The Travel Again agenda centers around its Recovery Framework – a robust plan for safely rebuilding the travel industry, along with subsequent working group recommendations. The framework reflects the work of the organization’s Policy Advisors, which include 25 senior leaders who represent various sectors of the travel industry, its Roundtable Participants, which include 20 of the world’s leading travel-related trade associations – as well as input from leading scientists and policy experts.
