DALLAS – The International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE) has teamed with the Saudi Event Management Academy (SEMA) to offer Certified in Exhibition Management (CEM) Learning Program courses in The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. SEMA will facilitate nine IAEE CEM Learning Program courses from 2-12 September 2018.

“We are very pleased to expand the CEM Learning Program to all exhibitions and events professionals in Saudi Arabia,” said IAEE President & CEO David DuBois, CMP, CAE, FASAE, CTA. “The collaboration with SEMA has been very smooth, and we look forward to initiating the first CEM courses in September.”

Located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, SEMA is the first event management academy in Saudi Arabia that covers all aspects of the meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions (MICE) industry from concept to reality. SEMA offers high-level courses for students, managers and industry professionals.

SEMA is Saudi Arabia’s most prestigious training academy and caters to the local needs of the Saudi community from various hospitality sectors, not limited to event management, exhibitions, meetings and conferences. For the first time, SEMA will be hosting the CEM Learning Program for all meeting industry professionals in Saudi Arabia.

“We are very pleased about the partnership between SEMA and IAEE,” said SEMA CEO Dr. Zohair Al Sarraj. “This agreement was initiated at IMEX 2017 and officially finalized at the Saudi Meeting Industry Convention (SMIC) in Riyadh this year. SEMA looks forward to extending the CEM Learning Program to all meeting industry professionals in Riyadh.”
