Iberostar Group announces its strategic partnership with GIATA

In collaboration with GIATA, Iberostar will enrich its online presence for its portfolio, showcasing a consistent and accurate brand footprint in all sales channels.

BERLIN, GERMANY – Iberostar Group, the Spanish hotel chain specializing in 4- and 5-star hotels, announced it is partnering with GIATA, the leading travel technology company for tourism content, to empower Iberostar to optimise its content management and distribution in one central platform.

In collaboration with GIATA, Iberostar will enrich its online presence for its portfolio, showcasing a consistent and accurate brand footprint in all sales channels. GIATA’s premium hotel content approach enables Iberostar to enhance the travel experience of its end customers. Iberostar will now be able to inform them promptly and accurately about any changes to its properties – across all channels. This will help Iberostar to both save manpower and streamline its content management workflow.

“We are proud to see that the quality of our content fulfils Iberostar’s high requirements,”  said Kalina Nikolova, Head of Sales, GIATA. “We are looking forward to a long-term strategic relationship that enables Iberostar’s desire to inform its customers in a timely manner. This expands the distribution of the high-quality content and helps Iberostar convert more traffic into hotel bookings, which is clearly a benefit for both sides.”

“While price is important, customers make hotel decisions based more on the images that are easily accessible, attractive, and competitive,” said Sofie Etien, Head of Trade Marketing EMEA. “With that in mind, we have partnered with GIATA, who is a proven leader in the distribution of hotel content, with one of the most powerful content management tools in the market.”
